FOOD SAFETY POLICY
The Management of the company Nicholas Gerentes SA. (trade name GEROLIVE) is committed to Food Safety, as evidenced
by its goal of safe processing and packaging of edible olives, in accordance with customer requirements, current legislation,
modern know-how, and quality control capabilities.
For this reason, the company’s Management has set as its highest objective the strict implementation and operation of a
Food Safety Management System in accordance with the ISO 22000:2018 standard at all stages of the production process, as
well as the continuous improvement of this system.
To achieve this goal, the Management commits to ensuring the following:

Compliance with applicable food safety requirements, including legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as
mutually agreed upon customer requirements related to food safety. This also includes, where applicable, the use of
non-genetically modified raw materials for the production of its products.

Systematic identification, evaluation, and control of risks related to product safety.

Establishment and implementation of necessary procedures and control measures for effective risk management.

Continuous verification of the suitability and effectiveness of procedures and control measures, and their updating.

Selection of competent personnel, ensuring professional adequacy, and providing necessary training related to food
safety.

Availability of sufficient information and effective communication.

Systematic conducting of verification and validation audits of the System.

Management of Food Safety at all levels of the organization.

Successful handling of issues related to internal and external communication.

Continuous improvement of the System’s processes and performance in relation to food safety, based on
measurable indicators and objectives.

Provision of necessary resources for the seamless, efficient, and effective operation of each department within the
company, aiming at sustainable development and cultivating a culture of quality and food safety among all
employees.

Adherence to operational rules concerning legality and authenticity, with the goal of ensuring the sustainability of
the company and its business environment.
The company Nicholas Gerentes SAplaces emphasis on preventing any failures (whether related to quality or safety), and its
internal operations are organized based on effective planning and control of all business activities that impact customer
satisfaction. The aim is to promptly identify and immediately address any malfunctions. In this context, any identified
